About DIGISHIP

“Digital Entrepreneurship Strategies for a better Sustained Europe” Jean Monnet Module project aims to increase practicality of Digital Entrepreneurship course at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) by adopting EU best practices. Therefore, two courses have been developed to feed the project aim:

a) “EU Business Policies for Sustainable Entrepreneurship”

b) The course on “Digital Entrepreneurship and Innovation”

The general objective of the course is to provide students with a consolidated view of the tools and perspectives of European Union’s strategies & policies on digitalization and entreprenuership; and also to enhance their capability for understanding the vision of EU for the future in terms of enterprise, strategy and finance. Regarding this general objective, the course will have two modules and related specific objectives with each module

Module one aims to provide students with valuable knowledge useful for acquiring managing skills and enriching understanding of the business environment in the EU market

Module two aims to raise students' awareness of legal, business, managerial, creative, analytical, interpersonal skills relevant to new venture setup and being an innovative thinker in various organizational contexts.

Wider Objective

• Ensuring overall project coordination and the timely delivery of reports, outputs, deliverables.

• To track the level of satisfaction among participants, users, and target groups, as well as to assess the project's influence on civil society at a national level.

• Ensuring comprehensive, effective and clear communication and dissemination of the module.

• Sharing the project’s activities, results and added value with relevant stakeholders (government authorities, policy makers, scientific community and NGOs);

• Providing next wave of university students with mentoring from the module activities
